The project "the perpetual cycle of human wear" proposes a dialog between students involved in clothing (fashion, costume design, art) in two schools, l'ENSAD and school of fashion Design in the University of applied arts from Belgrade.
Theme: Combination of tradition, hand made elements and high technology.
Mayor theme: Nemanjic family - Begin and fail of family
Founders of Serbia in the middle age, the first family important for history of Serbia, long time tradition and national heritage, cultural raise, church and monastery treasure for the first time.
With this project I want to present all greatness historical treasure of one ’’little’’ Serbia, since established of Nemanjic family, during a long time transformation, prosperity and fail. Treasure witch is our national costumes abound in during all that period, is unpredictable in beauty, and diversity.
My project and research is consist two parts, first part is based on combination of simple forms and high technology, print- witch is connect with Serbian historical elements ( epical poems), and heritage ( dye, “preslice”, weaving,-handstuffs…). Second part is handmade articles witch are close to national costume but in modern forms and shapes, they follow phases and devisions of period rule Nemanjic family: - Raise of Serbia - Expend of territory - Rank of Kingdom - Rank of Empire - Fail and disaster of Nemanjic family
